Potter is kind of a Gentleman and he has shown this when he was asked about Guardiola and what they talked about in their last personal meeting but he responded in a very professional way
Graham Potter was locked into a long chat with Pep Guardiola after Chelsea’s League Cup defeat against Man city back in the Autumn, and in the press conference today ahead of their next meeting, there was a question about what the pair had discussed.
The journalists were trying to push Potter into saying that he had been getting encouragement or support from Pep (who has publically praised him before), but in his typical modest way he didn’t say that, instead only admitting that there is a “general level of respect” between managers who know each other’s work.
