JUST IN: Here is where Chelsea are placed in world’s richest clubs by revenue list.

It might not come as a surprise that Chelsea is not in the topmost of places now in revenue as there has been many changes in the club but where they rank now is not too bad.

For Chelsea it’s been very up and down, but they have made the top 10 in a world’s richest clubs study list by Deloitte, as cited by The BBC.

The study is from the 2021-22 season, and it has a very heavy Premier League club presence, showing the popularity of the league.

Manchester City retained top spot, making 731m euros (£619.1m), ahead of Real Madrid (713.8m euros).

Liverpool rise to third from seventh, while Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal also make the top 10, with West Ham, Leicester, Leeds, Everton and Newcastle in the top 20.

Chelsea are in 8th place on the list, just ahead of London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal.

I do wonder how this list will look this time next year, looking back at the current season!
