With Enzo Fernandez signing imminent, Conor Gallagher makes decision about his future
With Enzo Fernandez signing imminent, Conor Gallagher makes decision about his future at Chelsea and it looks like he will be leaving after all as a huge bid was launched for him.
Craig Hope from The Daily Mail reports that Conor Gallagher has decided he does not want to go to Everton and prefers a big six club move or Newcastle who are currently in the top six.
Gallagher has interest from other clubs other than Everton, Newcastle would need to offer a loan plus obligation, reports Craig.
Conor has no desire to leave Chelsea and wants to continue to fight for a first team place but Chelsea could also tell him that he has to leave the club. Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Southampton have also made enquiries and Chelsea are set to make a decision very soon on his future.
You can’t theoretically force a player to move to another club but it will be interesting to see if Everton can convince him or Chelsea hold internal talks with the player to find a solution, from Chelsea’s point of view it looks like a must sell situation to raise some funds after two windows of extreme spending.
