A former Chelsea player Scott Minto has opined that the Chelsea owners have sabotaged the success of the club in a new interview with TalkSport; Here is everything he said.
He made it clear that the fact that they managed to buy too many players is the reason they had sabotaged the club in recent times.
His argument is that the owners have (not deliberately, of course) “sabotaged” their chosen coach by piling a load of players into his squad mid season.
We can certainly see his point, and in an ideal world these moves would have come gradually rather than all at once.
But given how much more talent Potter has available to him now, we can’t imagine him saying these moves are anything other than a positive.
