Chelsea in the chase for premium striker this summer; Oshimhen is the prime target

Oshimhen had happened to become the prime target for Chelsea this summer and it is not looking like a joke and by the Summer Chelsea may land him no matter the amount they placed him.

The Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that major teams including Chelsea are gearing up to try and sign him in the summer. It is going to cost a huge amount, with numbers like €120m being mentioned. Napoli are notoriously difficult to negotiate with.

The summer is a long way away, and there’s no telling what could happen between now and then. Other targets can emerge, other teams can move in for him – or perhaps after winning a title he will want to stick around and win another.

But assuming Chelsea don’t magically solve their striker problems before then and still need a top number 9, and assuming Osimhen keeps scoring, it seems very likely that we’re among the teams pushing to bring him to the Premier League.
