Inter Milan CEO opens up about Lukaku situation and Chelsea return Possibility; Here is what he said.

It is true that Chelsea fans after seeing the wonderful performance of Lukaku in the Champions League had asked for him to be allowed to make a return to the club given the fact that Chelsea is looking for a new striker and Inter CEO has replied and here is what he said;

“In June, he’ll return to Chelsea and then it will be a new scenario before us, and we’ll see what we can do,” Marotta explained.

“He wants to stay, so definitely knowing what he wants, we’ll see if we’re able to go back to negotiations and negotiate a return here with us for next season.”

Much as they did last summer, Chelsea may feel it’s worth sucking it up and accepting whatever Inter will offer, just to get the problem off their books for another year. All we can know for sure from these quotes is that Marotta is ready to play hardball and really take advantage of our weakness.
