(Video): Joao Felix suffers at the hands of referees once again as he drives to score a goal.
The second minute of last week’s game against Leicester saw Ricardo Pereira smash into Joao Felix’s ankle, knowing he was protected by the “first few minutes” unwritten rule of refereeing.
This week’s effort was less egregious, but also later in the half. Once again an opposition team has taken him out, in this case with a blatant forearm smash from James Tarkowski.
Once again, no card was shown.
This was less dangerous, but it was equally obvious, and should have been punished.
