Brighton and Hove Albion was the place Potter came to Chelsea from and his boss there and CEO Paul Barber have asked Chelsea board and fans to give him some time.

He will perform better with the team but this will take time with reference to Arsenal Mikel Arteta.

The executive was emphatic in explaining that Potter is the kind of coach who needs time, and that impatience would be be a huge mistake from Chelsea fans. Let’s hope he’s right.
