Chelsea legend Frank Leboeuf have said that Chelsea needs to sell two very important players to fund the permanent transfer of Joao Felix to Chelsea by the time his loan spell is done.

Felix is currently on loan with the Blues for the rest of the ongoing season, having joined the club on a short-term deal during the January transfer window.

The deal comes with an option to buy and this is why Chelsea is looking to sell some players to raise funds to make sure they can be able to exercise their option to buy when his loan spell elapses.

It is no hidden fact that frank loves Joao Felix and he is pushing to see him stay at Chelsea and keep being a part of the squad.

“Joao Felix is a great player. I think he’s the most dangerous player, the most entertaining player, and the most artistic player at Chelsea right now. He’s been pretty consistent too; almost every game, he creates something,” Leboeuf told ESPN.

“Hopefully Chelsea will be able to sell a few players – maybe Pulisic and Mount – and can then get Felix on a permanent,” he added.
