As recalled by sports chief Oleg Yarovinsky of CSKA Moscow, he said that one of their best players Aleksandr Golovin have in the past rejected a move by Chelsea and Manchester United to sign him into the club.
Yarovinsky recalled to Sport-Express: “Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United wanted him.

“Emotions aside, he and his agents did everything right. In England, it would be much harder for Sasha, there no one gives time to build up. In terms of adapting to European football and life in the West, Monaco is the best option.”
