Ben Chilwell and Saul Niguez react to news coming out of Chelsea yesterday; Here is what they said.

Chelsea stars have reacted to the news coming out of Chelsea this morning and it just a congratulatory message to their teammate.

Marcus Bettinelli, who joined the Blues back in 2021, has now extended his stay at Stamford Bridge.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper has penned a contract extension which keeps him at the club until at least the summer of 2026 (official website).

He’s the third-choice keeper at Chelsea behind Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy, who play for their countries Spain and Senegal, respectively.

Bettinelli posted a message on Instagram on Monday celebrating his new deal, which received responses from some past and present teammates.

Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell replied: “tremendous stuff.”

Elsewhere, former Blues midfielder Saul Niguez responded with several clapping emojis.

“Congratulations mate,” Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher also said in the replies.

Bettinelli have been patient with his time at Chelsea and this is why he is looking very fine now and everyone seem to celebrate him.

This is a good improvement to the side of the player and we wish the best of luck to him.
