Shocking; Kalidou Koulibaly reveals what Frank Lampard did on his Chelsea return and it’s never done before.

A recent interview with The Times today have revealed a lot and this is actually the first time any Chelsea player have revealed anything new or good about Lampard since his return to the club.

With Graham Potter sacked and Lampard appointed, it has been the same problems with loosing matches again.

Here is what Koulibaly said;

Some players remain from Lampard’s first spell, but there are a crazy number of new signings like Koulibaly too, so the former midfielder had to introduce himself to everybody.

“[He] made a nice speech and tried to speak with everybody and involve everybody. I know that is difficult when you have a lot of players, like us, but he was really motivated and really motivated us,” the defender revealed.

But there was also a thought for the sacked Potter too:

“I sent him a message. He helped me a lot. It was difficult for me at first, changing country and moving everything after eight years [at Napoli] and I can tell him thank you. He’ll have a good future.”

Sadly the motivation didn’t work, and Chelsea slumped to a 1-0 defeat to Wolves. But Koulibaly was perhaps our best player in that game.
