We all know that Lampard will be sacked soon and be replaced by someone else who will be the Permanent manager and here is when it will happen.

There has been many speculations to the time Lapmard will have to spend at Chelsea in this his second spell as against the time he had spent before in his first coming but this has not been substantiated very well but now I believe it is.

Frank Lampard will have to spend seemingly quality time at Chelsea and we are really looking forward to what it could look like but what about this in context.

While all of the attention on the pitch is on this, in the boardroom there is still an aim to select the right candidate for the role on a permanent basis.

Jacobs has now claimed that those in charge are hoping to get a permanent figure at the club at some stage of next month.

He said: “Chelsea would love to have a manager in place by May or mid-May, but they won’t strike an agreement if the manager they want feels there could be a vacancy at Real Madrid or PSG.”

Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique have been touted as the favourites for the job, with talks reportedly underway with both candidates regarding the role.

With the German reportedly holding off until the end of the season before returning to management, the timing of the appointment makes him the favourite for the job.
