All Chelsea January signings are all top class flops, who is even advising you guys? Joe Cole questions.

Chelsea new January signings have been very bad compared to the players who were sold for them to arive take an instance Jorginho against Mudryk.

Although Jorginho is not the best of midfields, but still Mudryk is far worse than he is with not yet registering his first EPL goal and barely has an assist to add to it nor anything to add to his spec as a midfielder one must wonder how and why he was bought and Jorginho sold.

But in the signings they made in the summer of 2022 and the January transfer window, the club failed to sign a top nine, maybe they were depending on the services of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is at this point nowhere to be found.

Chelsea also has Romelu Lukaku out there on loan at Inter Milan and has used Kai Havertz as their main striker for the majority of the season.

“Chelsea owners probably have to look at themselves and go, ‘Right, who’s advising us on these players? Why have we got nine number 10 wingers when we could have got a number nine?’

“We don’t know the ins and outs, but the problem lies with the recruitment over the last 12 months I think.

“You can’t rely on any player to get you 20 goals. No one in this squad has scored more than 20 goals in a season in their career. So what makes you think they’re going to do that now? That’s the overall problem.”
