Crucial Update; Massive relief for Chelsea as update on Badiashile’s injury comes up; Here’s the latest.
Badiashile had an injury and he did not feature in the last match for Chelsea and this has raised a lot of concerns and minds about him but he has managed to stay off the railing for this and here is what he had come up as the update on his injury.
Initial reports also claimed that the France defender was going to need surgery too, but further updates this afternoon from Nathan Gissing are saying that that’s not the case. That is a huge relief – you really don’t want your young players getting surgeries within months of signing for the club.
The fact he’s set to miss his first preseason with the club is damaging enough as it is. There will be a new manager in place, a trimmed squad and a short period of time to try and turn us from the league’s laughing stock back into a serious team.
Now Benoit will miss all of that, which could have serious knock on effects for next season and beyond.
Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile is expected to miss up to 3/4 months with a groin injury in which he suffered in training.
However, there is hope that he could return sooner.
There is NO surgery required.
