Harry Kane to Chelsea this Summer; Will Pochettino presence help Chelsea bring Kane? Find out.
Pochettino was asked a few questions about incoming players and the transfers he would like to see in the main section, but kept his answers very vague.
When it came to the subject of Harry Kane however, he couldn’t resist opening up a bit. Even his attempt to not speak about rumours interest in the striker he shares such a bond with from their time at Tottenham ended up revealing quite a lot:
“I don’t like to talk about players in another club, but you are talking about one of the greatest, one of the best strikers in the world,” the new manager said.
“It’s not fair to talk, it’s not fair to say nothing. People are not stupid, fans are not stupid, they are so clever and they know my relationship with him was always amazing.
“I saw him when he was young, grow up and achieve all he was achieving and of course we have a great relationship.”
Signing Kane feels like an impossibility for Chelsea this summer, both financially and in terms of making him want to come. This fantasy does well in generating some interesting clicks, but it’s obvious that the tiny chance of him coming to play for us reduced to 0 when we failed to qualify for the Champions League.
