Here are the steps Chelsea is taking to make sure they keep Liverpool target Colwill at Stamford bridge.
Chelsea are digging in their heels over England U21 defender Levi Colwill.
CBS’s Ben Jacnbs is reporting Chelsea are insisting the Liverpool and Brighton target is not for sale.
He stated on social media: “Chelsea insist Levi Colwill is not for sale. Brighton are well aware of this after a rejected bid earlier this summer. #LFC won’t move unless situation changes either.
“Pochettino will speak one-on-one with Colwill, who could well be given an instant starting spot
“Chelsea’s aim is to get Colwill to sign a new deal. But even if he doesn’t agree this summer, #CFC still not planning on selling. Colwill would have to drive any move if unconvinced by his game time at Chelsea,” he continues.
“One of the reasons Colwill’s so intent on knowing whether he’s a regular starter is because it’s been made clear to him he’s firmly in the picture for Euro 2024. A strong season could see him challenge Harry Maguire to start. England camp, much like #CFC, rate Colwill highly.”
