It’s important to state that nothing actually seems close yet either for Caicedo to join Chelsea from Brighton, but negotiations are ongoing and he is a priority Chelsea target.
Also, the player Caicedo is speaking on is Ecuadorian, so there is that connection there as well.
Caicedo did an interview yesterday, one in which he said he can not say no to Chelsea, adding even more fuel to the fire!

And then further to this, also part of the same interview, Caicedo was asked about young rising star Kendry Paez, who has agreed a deal to join Chelsea when he is old enough.
Caicedo obviously already knows the player well and is probably one of the best qualified to speak on him.
