News came out last night suggesting Chelsea are keen to sign the 19-year-old rising star and are readying a bid.

This report came from the reliable Julien Laurens at ESPN, and he has since added to said report with some further information that is actually quite significant.
He says that not only are Chelsea keen to sign Cherki, but Cherki himself is also keen to join Chelsea!
And just like Lyon did in January with Malo Gusto to Chelsea, they could open to the door to selling Cherki to Chelsea this month, as per the report.

It seems like it is all coming together for Chelsea should they wish to put an offer in for Cherki. They will probably need to be quick though, because other suitors are being mentioned as well.
