Rasmus Højlund had to pull out of Denmark’s latest international squad after the Manchester United player was substituted with a muscle problem two weeks ago.

Both Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Højlund had to be pulled off due to injury and subsequently withdrew from the latest Danish national squad, leaving fans worried about the fitness of their squad considering that the side has 10 absentees.

Although original assessments had United worried that Højlund may be out until next month, the latest update brings news that the 20-year-old striker is back running after suffering an issue with a muscle in his leg.

The news further describes that Eriksen is expected to be out for the next two or three weeks, while Marcus Rashford, who initially caused fears of injury after being substituted for England, is okay to play after suffering a bruised rib.
