All hope is lost; Real Madrid key duo who missed Cadiz game yesterday are set to return for second leg
If you are a Chelsea fan and you at some point think Chelsea might pull off a miracle in the UCL second leg then you need to think again.
Sadly however, Carlo Ancelotti has just confirmed that both will be fit to face Chelsea in the second leg of the Champions League quarter final in quotes picked up by the Evening Standard.
“They couldn’t play today because they both had small issues,” Ancelotti told reporters after the game on Saturday evening.
“They trained separately today but tomorrow they’ll train as normal and be fine for Tuesday,” he continued.
That’s a blow, but in reality this season is over and the temptation of Tuesday night is just the hope that kills us. The sooner Ancelotti’s team have sent us packing and killed out faint hopes the sooner we can move on.
Frank Lampard made similar moves to protect his better players, and his cost him dearly with a defeat to Brighton.
