The Blues worked hard to sign Enzo in the January transfer window and basically spent the whole month working on getting the deal over the line.
Enzo has been one of the few positives at Chelsea in what has been a disastrous season, and he has played every game since he arrived, proving his early importance to this team already. You almost feel sorry for him because he is levels above many of his current team mates right now.
He needs better quality around him in midfield and that is what Chelsea are apparently looking to do this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer guru has said that Chelsea are taking time to decide on the new number 6 because they want the perfect partner for Enzo Fernández, he needs someone to allow him to be the real Enzo, someone who can run a lot.
