In the late hours of the transfer window, Chelsea receives a huge transfer boost on Enzo fernandez negotiation as Benfica president backs him to leave Benfica.

Record in Portugal are reporting that Benfica President Rui Costa is no longer attending a celebratory dinner this evening, one in which he would have to travel for.

This could be for any reason but one suspects it is because negotiations are getting hotter between Chelsea and Benfica, perhaps Costa is meeting one of the Chelsea owners also.

It is believed that the only person stopping this deal currently is Costa, so it is very interesting that he has had to change his plans this evening.
