In just one week left in this January transfer window, Chelsea could still land three or four more players starting with this latest interest.

Football.London are now reporting that Chelsea “have agreed personal terms” with the full back, who has shown real talent as a teenager breaking into the Lyon team over the last two seasons.

This pre-agreement is often the case of course, and these days clubs have usually agreed at least the basics of a contract with a player coming in before a transfer fee is agreed.
