Confirmed: After transfer rumors, Sterling is set to join Chelsea first team stars after Injury break.

Raheem Sterling will be joining the Chelsea first team in the fortnight after his injury spell and the rumors about his transfer updates and all the speculations this means Chelsea is one man better now.

Raheem Sterling and Wesley Fofana, two of the first choice players currently out with serious injuries, are both “hoping to return within the next fortnight.” One imagines neither will be rushed back given our recent record on that front.

The winger and the central defender have both missed significant games already, and having them back adds quality to the first team and puts some depth back on the bench for Graham Potter as he desperately tries to turn our form around.

It all adds weight to the sense that this next two weeks could be crucial for Chelsea. They have no games to play, and have numerous players – including this pair – hoping to be back for the Fulham game which follows it.
