Cucurella set for National team Call up after so many snub by Spanish team; Maybe because Enrique is out.

Cucurella is now set to hopefully make a return for the Spanish national team as International break is on the bring of happening and he could face the same fate at Chelsea should Luis Enrique happen to land the Chelsea coaching job.

According to the Sun, who report that Luis de la Fuente will pick Cucurella for his first Spain squad following the resignation of Luis Enrique after Spain’s World Cup exit.

Cucurella had a nightmare start to life at Chelsea, with his own personal bad form coming just as the side were at their worst. He genuinely had most Blues convinced he simply wasn’t good enough for the very top, and it’s been amazing to see the turnaround in the last 180 minutes, where he’s looked great as a left sided center back able to burst forward and press in midfield.

Now settled in London and with a new daughter, it seems he’s finding his feet at Chelsea, and if he impresses for Spain he could look back on this difficult season as a real turning point.
