Eden Hazard laid a curse on Chelsea before leaving but a lot of the fans will not consider it a curse but he actually said he will want to be drawn with Chelsea in the Champions league while he plays for Madrid and heck it just happened.
After the 7 years he spent in Chelsea he had a very successful time playing for the blues hence the reason Madrid came for him and he gave in and decided to pursue his lifelong dream of playing for Real Madrid but life is not going too well for him over there right now as he have suffered many injury scares.
Hazard played his final game for Chelsea against Arsenal in Baku, Azerbaijan. Afterwards, he finalized his move to Real Madrid for a club-record fee
The Hazard Curse on Chelsea;
Before leaving Chelsea Hazard wrote a very well crafted farewell message to the Chelsea fans and he included what he had wanted to it for Chelsea and Real Madrid hence the curse;
Part of the message read:
“Chelsea and Chelsea fans will always be special to me and next season, I will look for your results first. I hope that we are drawn against each other in the Champions League next season and every season after that.”
True to Hazard’s wish, Chelsea have played Real Madrid every season, bar one, since he swapped teams.
