Fabrizio Romano sends serious warning to Chelsea ahead of their Summer signing; He is not a Number 9 and you may regret thinking he is.

Chelsea is thinking they have the perfect number 9 in Christopher Nkunku but this may not be all true as Fabrizio Romano has said that he is not a striker but a cover for one.

Chelsea loosing Aubameyang will hurt them in many ways one of which is going to be hard to get a natural number 9 again.

There are other option Chelsea has which is Broja but of course, Chelsea will not have Armando Broja back until at least the start of next season, and he may well take some time to get back to his best even when he returns to the field.

“I think it’s not surprising that Chelsea will explore market for new striker, Aubameyang will leave and they only have Broja,” Romano said.

“Nkunku is not a number 9, he’s probably going to play behind the striker. But it’s not too early to know for sure what decisions Chelsea will make on who’s going to be the right candidate.”
