Gallagher warns teammates about Wolves defeat and what they must do to beat Madrid; Here is what he said.
Beating Real Madrid will be one of the hardest things Chelsea will have to do this season but it seems like Gallagher has a way to do this and here is what he said;
The midfielder played the full 90 minutes at Molineux and was involved in most of Chelsea’s best attacking moments.
“We can’t have too many complaints,” said Gallagher to Chelsea’s website.
“It was a disappointing game. We had confidence, we were up for it and excited for the game, but we’re disappointed and angry because we want it so bad. We want to win games for the club, for the fans. It’s just not clicking at the minute.
“It was a tough one to take. There are a lot of areas we can improve and do better. We have to look at ourselves, individually and collectively. We didn’t do enough on the day.”
On new manager Frank Lampard, Gallagher added: “He wanted us to play with personality and intensity, and it just didn’t click. The quality of the squad we have, we should be winning a lot more than we are.
“We have to keep working hard and looking where we can improve, and hopefully it can improve and we can start winning games where we should be.”
