Here is How Chelsea could line up against Wrexham in the USA as they are missing Reece James.

The ex-Villarreal man has linked up with his new teammates at Cobham and is set to board the plane to the USA, although Pochettino is still without a plethora of other players for various reasons.

Armando Broja (knee) and Benoit Badiashile (hamstring) are both still on the treatment table, while Jackson’s fellow new arrival Christopher Nkunku remains on holiday alongside Under-21 Euros champions Levi Colwill and Noni Madueke.

Gabriel Slonina and Mykhaylo Mudryk are also recovering from their international exertions, while Hakim Ziyech, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Romelu Lukaku are not expected to be involved ahead of their expected departures.

With Edouard Mendy exiting for the riches of Saudi Arabia, Kepa Arrizabalaga is Pochettino’s number one for the time being, while Thiago Silva and Wesley Fofana could form a central partnership boasting both youth and experience.

Aiming to consign their injury woes to the past, Reece James and Ben Chilwell might line up out wide, while a lack of midfield options could see Carney Chukwuemeka join Enzo Fernandez and Conor Gallagher in a triumvirate.

It is a similar story for Chelsea in attack, where Jackson and Raheem Sterling will likely be shoo-ins, leaving Callum Hudson-Odoi and Omari Hutchinson to battle for the final place up front.

Despite links with a move elsewhere, Hudson-Odoi could get the nod, leaving Hutchinson to hope for minutes off the bench alongside fellow youngsters Andrey Santos, Cesare Casadei and Lewis Hall.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; James, Fofana, Silva, Chilwell; Gallagher, Fernandez, Chukwuemeka; Sterling, Jackson, Hudson-Odoi
