The teenager is making the most of his chances, and even with Marc Cucurella fit, Graham Potter picked the academy product instead. There was a little worry at the end after he went down hurt and was then taken off – but he looked ready to play on if needed. He was so threatening in attack once again, and could easily have got a goal.

Of course with Ben Chilwell on the way back and Cucurella around it’s not going to be easy to keep up these appearances, but he’s certainly making the most of them, and will already have convinced Potter about his abilities going forward.
