Emma Hayes have spoken about her lunch with Todd Boehly and this has come to happen and it seems like this is the first step to bring back the Chelsea we used to know.

She was very close to the previous ownership and although being far thrown in this recent ownership, it looks to me that she is gaining that followership back from this current ownership.

Emma Hayes: "I had lunch with Graham [Potter], Todd [Boehly] and Behdad [Eghbali] the other day. It was a really warm, lovely environment. It's a family here — it's more of a family than it's ever been I would say."

What a fun image – we wondered what they talked about? Perhaps Emma Hayes took the chance for further investment in the women’s team, given the frightening quantity lavished on the men’s first team squad.

Whatever was the subject of conversation over the meal (we bet it was an exceptionally expensive one), it’s great to see the owners bringing everyone together, and the inspirational Hayes saying that it’s a “lovely environment” still.
