Mason Mount; I will not achieve my 2023 goals if I keep staying at Chelsea and playing under Potter.

It is a hard one to admit but Mason Mount is not looking to make it seem like he is doing himself a favor by doing so right now and saying the honest truth about how things are right now.

Mount have not been seeing a lot of playing time under Potter and also coupled with the fact that he has contract situation issues with Chelsea too, it seems to him that he is very much behind in his goals set for himself for the 2023 season.

This is one of the reasons why he is pushing so hard to leave the club this Summer as interest in him from other European clubs keeps growing.

Again Mount is worried this new contract he will be handed will want him to stay at Chelsea too long which is not what he wants as he wishes to explore other league options and new challenges.
