My girlfriend has had a very tough week due to Chelsea issues related to me; Kai Havertz opens up.

Chelsea Ace Kai Havertz have stated that he nearly lost his relationship with his girlfriend as a result of the fact that issues were around because of Chelsea.

They are living the dream though, playing football for a living and earning so much money doing so, has got to be any football fans absolute dream. These guys are living that.

But when the chips are down, they also live that – they are just humans at the end of the day and when they lose games, it effects them terribly, and it also effects those closest to them.

Chelsea have been going through a very rough period in the last few months, with results and performances being really bad.

Graham Potter and his players have been struggling, and fans have been losing patients with the coaches and the players.

Blues forward Kai Havertz has opened up about how the results and noise surrounding it all has effected him and his family, particularly his girlfriend.

“Football is our life,” Havertz said in quotes relayed by The Evening Standard. “If you lose a game, of course you don’t have an easy life. I think everyone at home, especially my girlfriend, has had some tough weeks as well the last weeks and months.”

Havertz added with a smile: “I think she is happy now again and so am I.

“If you have a bad day at work… you… I won’t say the word now but you don’t feel good.

“Football is a game where we have a lot of pressure on our shoulders. We want to make the fans happy and if you don’t make them happy then you don’t have a good time.

“Winning is always the best, we won again so we can enjoy some days.”
