Noni Madueke sends strong message to Chis teammates after Liverpool draw; Although this was just a three word message it sent a huge message out to the players as we hope for better results.

Mmadueke did not start for Chelsea after Liverpool neither did he come on as a sub but he was giving his support from the bench.

It was certainly not a classic between the Blues and the Reds, but Graham Potter will certainly take plenty of positives from the fixture.

His side secured another clean sheet, their seventh in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea limited Liverpool to just three shots on target, largely thanks to a defence made up of three players in form.

Thiago Silva unsurprisingly led by example at the heart of the back three, whilst new recruit Benoit Badiashile put in another strong shift.

To the left of Badiashile and Silva, Chalobah also contributed to keeping Klopp’s men at bay all afternoon.

The 23-year-old was starting his third successive league game, having ensured another clean sheet in the previous game at home to Crystal Palace.

He celebrated sharing the points with Liverpool via an Instagram post not long after the full-time whistle.

‘Solid point on the road. We keep pushing,’ typed the Chelsea academy graduate.

One of those to reply to Chalobah’s post was Madueke, who probably appreciated the performance of his soon-to-be co-worker.

‘Onto the next’ wrote the winger signed from PSV Eindhoven in the comments.

Next up for Potter’s squad is a London derby with Fulham on Friday, with both Madueke and Chalobah hopeful to be involved.
