Is it true that Graham Potter cannot be sacked from Chelsea as a result of the fact that it was not Abramovich that hired him?

Under Abramovich Chelsea has a very harsh rule of hiring and firing coaches and staffs but this is a new era and the current Chelsea owner does not deploy this same strategy.

Here is what Potter said;

“There’s completely different ownership than there was. This is hard for people to get their heads around because Chelsea for 20 years has been one thing, and now all of a sudden it’s different,”
