Chelsea is not looking to give this young man away not now not ever and although he is still on loan, he is still Chelsea future wonder kid and given the fact that he is doing extremely well over there at Brighton.

Speaking about Colwill, Jacobs says that Colwill still remains part of Chelsea’s long-term plans for the future, which will be reassuring for Blues fans to hear.

“Levi Colwill remains part of Chelsea’s long-term plans hence why they would only allow a loan to Brighton over the summer,” Jacobs said: “It’s been a difficult season at Brighton and he’s only played five Premier League games. But anyone I speak to at Chelsea is always quick to underline his high potential. Chelsea know they have a superb talent.”
