Rudiger finally explains leaving Chelsea, and why he choose Real Madrid over PSG; Here is what he said.
Ruidiger left Chelsea and joined Real Madrid and became a better version of himself as a player and he has been doing just great since and he has taken his time out to explain why he choose Real Madrid over PSG while he left Chelsea.
Rudiger admits he was aware of interest from PSG at the time.
The Germany international recalled: “There were a lot of rumours.
“You know, as soon as there was something with PSG, they sent me a message. But like I said, that’s not what I was looking for. In the end, it has nothing to do with PSG.
“It’s a very big club. But next door, Real Madrid, Real Madrid…
“I realised I could go to Real Madrid after lifting the Champions League (with Chelsea in 2021). I knew I could go there. At that moment, I understood. You want to be on the winning side, you have to go to Real Madrid.“
