SAD: Glen Johnson advices Chelsea star Mateo Kovacic to join Chelsea EPL rivals Liverpool.
You might not like this advise as a Chelsea fan but then again, it was said. Glen Johnson said Kovacic will be better off joining Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp likes him and also Liverpool will be a good feat for him.
There has been a link for Kovacic to join Liverpool but it is now left on the player to decide what he wants.
The Croatian international is out of contract in the summer of 2024 and former Liverpool man Johnson feels the player is underrated at Stamford Bridge.
“Mateo Kovacic is a top class player so the interest is no surprise,” Johnson told Lord Ping.
“If he leaves Chelsea, he would suit Liverpool very well.
“Jurgen Klopp will love the way he plays,” he added.
Chelsea have reportedly listed 8 of their top players for sale and Kovacic is named among the stars to likely leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Croatian has not disappointed Chelsea fans since he moved to Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid.
