SAD: Ziyech can still earn €15m a year if he stayed at Chelsea after his failed medical but here is the condition.
If Ziyech wanted to stay at Chelsea and still earn the same amount he would have earned in Saudi, he will need to do this one thing.
Al Nassr’s offer to Hakim Ziyech remains on the table. Changes made to the proposal after the medical means that his guaranteed salary is 40 percent lower but if he stays fit he will make the same €15m he was initially offered.

There were conflicting reports at the time – was it because of a failed medical? Or a disagreement over wages? It seems it was a bit of a mixture. A problem with Ziyech’s knee was detected, and Al Nassr lowered their offer accordingly. Ziyech didn’t want to accept that lower offer – but according to James Benge it is still very much on the table.
Clearly the door is still open for the Morocco star to make the move – and in fact the club have structured a deal so that Ziyech can still make the same wage he was offered before if he stays fit.
Perhaps, if no other interesting offers are presented to the former Ajax man, he will accept that this lucrative setup is the best way to get out of his unpleasant situation at Chelsea. It’s not really in anyone’s interest to have him rocking up for preseason training next week.
