Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino admits he’s not settled on a long-term position for Christopher Nkunku.

The France attacker scored in today’s 5-0 preseason win against Wrexham in North Carolina.

On Nkunku scoring, Pochettino said: “Yes, I think the most important now is to get feelings, starting to play again after the holidays.

“All the players came in at different levels and now it is about putting them all at similar levels to try to compete for the season.”

On Nkunku as a No9, Pochettino said: “I think for the possibility today and the different players we have available and I think it’s a position we decide today to use with him because we only have Jackson and him with the possibility to play as a striker.”
