Thiago Silva admits he had told Chelsea to sign 31 years old Ex Chelsea player in 2021 but Chelsea said no and opted for other options.

Thiago Silva has been a very huge fans of Chelsea star Willian and in 2021 he tried to tell the club to sign him but they did not think he was a viable option and they went for better alternatives which they believe is the best in their own eyes but maybe they are not.

At Fulham, Willian has showed that he still has all it takes to play for the big team and he just showed it in their last match with Chelsea and he could do even more this night.

When asked about WIllian, Thiago said;

“Willian is special, I have a special affection for this kid. Out of the loop as a person and a player. Before he left for Corinthians , I tried to repatriate him, but unfortunately things didn’t work out, they didn’t work. I knew he was a very important player.

“In the first round game, he scored a goal against us, he is having important performances with Fulham. I hope that Friday he can be more relaxed.”
