Chelsea very close to £52 million agreement for to midfielder with Caicedo deal on point
Well, we certainly are not short of things to be writing about this morning in a Chelsea sense!
It has been the maddest couple of days covering Chelsea in the transfer market. We have seen up, downs, more ups, more downs, and some more ups again!! And the stories are not even over yet!
Chelsea are pushing to get the deal over the line to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

But as well as the Brighton midfielder, Chelsea are still also trying to sign another midfielder after they cancelled their move for Tyler Adams from Leeds for a reason that really, is still pretty unknown at the moment.
But according to a couple of good sources, Chelsea are close to agreeing a fee with Southampton now to sign midfielder Romeo Lavia!
Bobby Vincent of Football London reported it after Sky Sports hinted at the deal being on.
And then, reliable Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri followed that up confirming that a deal is close and cites a similar fee.
