Job Description

What you’ll be doing in the position
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks, including but not limited to:
- Recording financial transactions such as sales, purchases and payments
- Maintaining and updating financial records
- Reconciling bank statements
- Preparing and issuing invoices and credit notes
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Providing support to the accounting department
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws
- Communicating with vendors and clients regarding financial matters
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Must have skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- A commitment to accuracy and timely completion of tasks
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
