Arsenal legend this night have explained that Chelsea had lost the chance to beat Real Madrid as a result of some mistakes by Joao Felix and had he not made these mistakes they would have won the match straight up.

Speaking about Chelsea he said that they had superb chance in the second minute, which would have changed the whole tie – at least to begin with – had they scored but Felix lost it.

Joao Felix was clean through but, as Thierry Henry explained in detail on CBS Sport, he didn’t do what a striker would do, and in the end Real Madrid were able to squeeze him out. Fine margins are everything in football, and this was probably the clearest chance of the tie.
