Chelsea captain Azpilicueta opens up about his injury in their last match; Here is what he said.
It was a very good return that the Chelsea captain has made in a few days after his blinding injuries and he also was able to watch Chelsea Cobham training a few days ago and this goes to show the level of improvement he has had during these times.
More than this is the fact that he has also opened up on how his injury had felt with him when he was blacked out.
The 33-year-old did recover from the incident, but needed up to ten minutes of medical care at the time.
Now he has revealed that he heard Chelsea fans singing his name after he woke up.
In a video released from the club’s training ground, he states: “I’m feeling okay.
“Great to be back after being discharged from the hospital and coming to say hello and watch training.
“It was scary. Mostly for the people around and for my family.
“You know, the last thing I could remember was when the corner was going to be kicked.”
