Spanish Giant Barcelona could pull off a shock swoop and re-sign Chelsea outcast Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the Gabon striker thrived during his six month stay with the Catalan giants last season.

However, he then left for regular game time at Chelsea in the summer after Barca secured Robert Lewandowski.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca want to bring the 35-year-old back to the club as cover for the Polish striker.

Aubameyang would likely be available on a free transfer, as he is not in Chelsea’s plans.
