Chelsea launches fresh campaign to bring Raphinha to Chelsea; Fabrizio Romano gives update; What he said.

It is kind of bizarre that Chelsea is looking to land Raphinha from Barcelona and this is not the first time they are trying such a thing but although the first time did not go too well and this second time it could.

As many people have waited to see or hear and Fabrizio have given his update on this new Barcelona link and here is what he said;

Both Chelsea and Newcastle have been linked with the 26-year-old by Sport.

And now, Fabrizio Romano has commented on the situation writing in today’s edition of the Daily Briefing.

“There are some reports circulating about Chelsea and Newcastle wanting to sign Raphinha,” Romano said.

“I’m sure Barcelona are very happy with Raphinha, so, again, let’s see what happens with Financial Fair Play but Barca want to trust Raphinha for present and future and he loves the club.”

So Romano hasn’t confirmed or denied recent interest from Chelsea, but at the very least, due to the history there and Chelsea wanting to sign the player previously, it might be something that they will be keeping an eye on, especially with the current situation at Barcelona as well.
