Good News: Ruben Loftus-Cheek returns to first team after improvement in his injury and good training.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the recent trainings has improved a lot and this has seen him return to the first team after showing no signs of his former injury that kept him out.

This is not his first session back – in fact he’s had almost a week out with the group and should be ready for a return to action in a competitive game soon.

We can’t imagine he’s quite fit enough for a start, but if he’s going to be used as cover for Reece James at right wing back (as he was on many occasions last year) he could easily be a regular starter as soon as he’s had shaken off the rust and got some games in his legs.
