Jorginho offered new contract by Chelsea putting the idea of leaving aside; Read contract terms

In the wake of the event of Enzo Fernendez signing and a potential move out of the Stamford Bridge for Jorginho, he was offered a contract yesterday that will keep him at Chelsea for at least next two years and here is the contract clause.

Should he refuse this contract then he could leave Chelsea as a free agent and this is one thing Chelsea may not want.

Although he has a very down part with providing passes and assisting and even scoring, he is still a huge part of Chelsea project as explained by Potter.

Napoli was the club that helped the midfielder to gain prominence in the game. Jorginho had stood out after his performance at Napoli, which gained Chelsea’s interest in him. He signed with Chelsea back in 2018 after his ex-manager Maurizio Sarri urged Chelsea to sign him. The Italian’s agent have confirmed that they have now received an offer from the Blues. He commented,

“We’ve received a proposal from Chelsea to sign a new contract so it’s our priority to discuss with Chelsea. Napoli interest? We’d be happy for their interest, it’s a special club for Jorginho but there’s nothing as of now.”

But it seems like they are not satisfied with the offer they have received. They would be hoping for some improvements for him to sign a long-term deal with the Blues. Chelsea are undergoing some significant changes.
